Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement production plans, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Process tasks using planning tools, such as creation of production work orders and material requisitions.
  • Ensure accurate and realistic material availability dates for assigned orders.
  • Update data boards and communicate with the sales team to ensure proper planning and execution.
  • Assess and execute reschedule requests related to components, assemblies, or entire orders.
  • Develop and maintain accurate lead times for manufacturing processes and communicate with the SOP and sales teams.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, QA, Sales, and Contracts.
  • Ensure production schedules data are accurate, maintained, and can be quickly modified.

Requirements

  • Extensive production planning and master scheduling background within an engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of MRP/ERP tools and systems.
  • Numerate and IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
