Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Interiors Development Engineer to join our Research and Development Team at Expleo Group UK Jobs. As an Automotive Interiors Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of automotive interiors, including the design and engineering of interior components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative interior design concepts and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including styling, product planning, and purchasing to ensure seamless integration of interior components and systems
  • Lead investigations into design and engineering concerns, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of interior components and systems
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure alignment and successful project execution
  • Conduct lifecycle cost management and competitor benchmarking to ensure optimal interior design and engineering solutions

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in a design or engineering field
  • Previous experience in automotive interiors development, including design and engineering of interior components and systems
  • Knowledge of interior cabin parts and modules, as well as cost breakdown analysis skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and good communication and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in CAD interrogation and Microsoft Office skills
