As a Data Center Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our presence within the European Data Center market. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and developing compelling solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Your Impact
- Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects by building strong relationships with Data Center clients. Understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and global business development teams to determine the optimal Cummins offerings that address Data Center customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy by fostering effective communication and coordination within the sales organization.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced sales and account team members, supporting their professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role with a demonstrated understanding of commercial principles.
- A technical background is essential, with knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrate adaptability and possess exceptional communication and teamwork skills. Ability to effectively manage complex projects.
- Prior experience within the Data Center sector is highly advantageous.
