We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Designer to join our team in the Social Security Programme Division. As a Senior Content Designer, you will play a key role in creating and iterating content for end-to-end services that makes complex language and processes easy to understand.

You will work with minimal supervision to create and iterate content, understand and implement appropriate content styles and standards, and identify, analyze, manage, and monitor relationships with and between stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of writing for the web, with proven ability of planning and creating accessible user-centred content, and experience in working with content publishing systems.

We offer a competitive civil service salary and additional digital pay supplement of £5000 per year, a contributory pension package, generous leave allowance, flexible working arrangements, and learning and development opportunities.

Responsibilities include working with user researchers to understand users, identifying who they are and what their needs are based on evidence, and prioritizing and defining approaches to understanding user stories.
