About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Children's Home Registered Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.

As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their personal best. You will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure that our children receive the best possible care and support.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people, and who has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support. You will need to have a good understanding of the regulatory environment and be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support to our children and young people
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support provided
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations and regulations
