About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Children's Home Registered Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.

As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their personal best. You will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that our children and young people receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily life within the home, including the management of staff rotas and the coordination of training and development opportunities
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people
  • Work closely with other members of the management team to ensure that our home is always able to evidence a high standard of care and quality
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children's Homes Regulations and the Quality Standards
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviours, including mental health and behavioural problems
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including the Children's Homes England Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards
