About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Children's Home Registered Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.

As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people, providing a safe and supportive environment that enables them to thrive. You will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues, facilitating their professional development, and ensuring that they provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting independence and life skills for our children and young people, and who is committed to ensuring their safety and well-being. If you have a strong background in residential childcare, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues to provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people
  • Facilitate the professional development of your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained in the home, meeting the needs of our children and young people
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our children and young people
  • Work closely with other members of the management team to ensure the smooth running of the home
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations and regulations
