Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager Technical to spearhead the vision and execution of AI-enhanced features that personalize the search experience for Amazon customers.

About Our Team:
Our team is integral to Amazon's Personalization division, which is dedicated to utilizing advanced technologies in machine learning and big data to create exceptional shopping experiences tailored to individual customer preferences.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  1. Define and lead the strategy for personalized search functionalities, aiming to boost customer engagement and drive revenue growth.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX design, and business stakeholders, to create and implement a comprehensive product roadmap.
  3. Make informed prioritization decisions, balancing customer needs with technical feasibility.
  4. Utilize customer feedback and data analytics to refine and enhance product features continuously.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of personalized search initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover new opportunities for personalization and inform product strategy.
  7. Communicate product vision and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for personalization initiatives.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 5 years of comprehensive product delivery experience.
  • Proven experience in shaping and driving product strategy.
  • Strong background in technical product management or engineering.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Analytical prowess, capable of leveraging data to inform decisions and challenge assumptions.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates may also have:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Experience with search technologies and machine learning models.
  • A track record of building trusted brands in an eCommerce context.
