About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Biffa Waste Services. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for inspiring and developing our onsite engineering team to achieve high performance and maximize uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Develop and implement best practices to improve maintenance and engineering processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage budgets and resources to optimize site performance
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualified mechanical or electrical engineer
  • Previous experience in engineering management and leadership
  • Experience in managing health and safety in an industrial environment
  • Engineering or asset management qualification
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Budget and P&L management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and ability to learn new software
