Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team at Defence. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our facilities and ensuring the highest standards of facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
- Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy, and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
- Assist the facilities team with the control of contractors' processes, ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone adheres to site policies and rules.
- Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role.
- Adaptable and able to easily embrace changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner.
- Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers.
- Ability to work under pressure.
