Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are well-maintained, safe, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and coach as needed.
- Scheduling and Task Management: Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
- Facility Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Client Relationships: Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Quality Assurance: Perform facility inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Environmental Health and Safety: Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures.
- Training and Development: Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
- Leadership and Influence: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership and Organizational Skills: Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- Mathematical Skills: Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
