Facilities Operations Manager

About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for managing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This role is part of the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
- Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
- Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Perform facility inspections to ensure quality assurance, following local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
- Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
