Facilities Operations Manager

About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will oversee building operations and maintenance for facilities, campuses, or portfolios of buildings. Your leadership skills will drive quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in your team's performance.
This role is part of our Facilities Management functional area, which covers all aspects of facility operations. We support Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.
- Lead employees by providing formal supervision, monitoring staff development, conducting evaluations, and coaching.
- Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance through collaboration with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address unresolved facility issues during meetings.
- Create and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections following local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Ability to handle sensitive information, convey performance expectations, and resolve problems.
