Caretaker - Estate Services

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Caretaker to join our Estate Services team at Sanctuary Group. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing an excellent caretaking service, including communal cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning doors and windows.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake general caretaking duties, including cleaning communal areas, removing bulk waste, and performing grounds maintenance tasks.
- Work with customers to resolve issues and improve services.
- Complete all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition.
- Carry out monthly inspections and report communal defects/repairs.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar cleaning role or completing similar tasks.
- British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) would be advantageous.
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery.
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Good communication and customer care skills.
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full manual valid UK driving licence.
