Event Safety Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crowd Safety Supervisor to join our event day safety team at London Stadium. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and enjoyable events for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the London Stadium Safety Officer and the event day Crowd Safety Team in delivering safe and enjoyable events in accordance with the Spectator Safety Policy, relevant legislation, and the venue safety certificate.
  • Work with the event day Crowd Safety Team to ensure the safety and well-being of spectators, staff, and performers.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Participate in pre-event planning and risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a safe event environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety or above.
  • Hold an SIA Door Supervisor Licence (where required) for specific roles leading SIA steward teams (if applicable).
  • Have worked in a similar capacity in a similar venue.
  • Commit to working 80% of the events at London Stadium.
  • Be willing to commit to any additional training required, such as customer service and online event-specific inductions.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive event day rate, dependent on experience and event day role match (6 hour minimum shift).
  • Non-guaranteed hours on an event-by-event basis.
