About the Role

A bit about the position

We are Human Forest, a pioneering sustainable transportation company bridging the gap between affordability and sustainability. Our innovative approach uses advertising revenue to offer users 10 minutes of free cycling daily.

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to pedal Bikes for Business to companies across the region. Employees can Cycle to Work with Human Forest while making tax savings.

You will work within our Commercial Team to create a healthy pipeline of opportunities to provide companies and organizations with Bikes for Business. As a BDE, you will consistently reach out to companies to promote our Cycle to Work subscription and other B2B services. You will meet with corporate and sustainability representatives to showcase how Human Forest can benefit them and their employees.

You will have the opportunity to grow in a dynamic and fast-paced sales team while helping companies decarbonize their operations and contribute to tackling climate change.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively generate leads and initiate engagement with potential partners through various channels
  • Deliver pitches to promote Bikes for Business and help businesses provide an affordable method of transport to their employees
  • Take responsibility for managing your own outreach, keeping your pipeline up to date and well-organized on our CRM system
  • Work collaboratively to learn from and help create engagement strategies with your team

About You:

  • You have 2 years + experience in business development/sales and are eager for a new challenge
  • You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you can be proactive as well as reactive
  • You are a chatty, outgoing extrovert who thrives on making new connections and isn't phone shy
  • You approach tasks with a persistent mindset, showing unwavering determination to reach your goals
  • You're a fast learner that's able to multitask and problem-solve
  • You are a team player, providing input and sharing feedback when new challenges arise
