About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Operations Manager to join our team at Great Bear. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and developing customer contracts, ensuring strategies and business plans are in place to achieve targets and drive business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Ensure all day-to-day operational requirements consistently meet the customers' expectations, exceeding key performance measures and managing and developing client relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Responsible for managing and developing the existing management teams and employee relations, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to deliver best-in-class operations.
  • Financial Management: Prepare customer annual budgets and work within those financial boundaries while delivering improved financial performance.
  • Health and Safety: Assume responsibility for managing Health & Safety, Personnel issues, and Facilities across all sites.

Requirements:

  • Education: Ideally educated to degree level and with a proven track record within the 3rd Party warehousing and logistics sector.
  • Experience: A demonstrable track record in managing high-volume, service-driven warehouse operations for FMCG customers, with excellent communication skills and the ability to converse at all levels.
  • Leadership: Successful leadership of teams, positive personal qualities, and attributes, with enthusiasm, drive, and commitment.
  • Commercial Skills: Experience of Open and Closed book contracts, good numerical and commercial skills are essential.
