Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and management to the operational team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve their goals.
- Operational Performance: Maximize site operational performance by closely managing customer requirements and ensuring that challenging KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that Health and Safety is a top priority, aligned with the overall site and business goals and guidelines.
- Team Development: Develop and lead a culture of continuous improvement, identifying key team members for the future and ensuring they are able to fuel the Company's growth and succession plans.
- Financial Management: Closely manage financial targets to ensure the attainment of improved financial performance through effective cost management.
- Customer Engagement: Engage effectively with the customer in a full Partnership model approach.
- Site Facilities: Manage and maintain site facilities and visiting contractors.
- Recruitment and Selection: Timely recruit and select agency and permanent operatives.
- Compliance: Manage the process for ensuring compliance on key internal and external audits.
- Experience: A demonstrable track record in managing high volume, high service driven warehouse operations.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to think and work both strategically and operationally, with a successful builder and leader of large and diverse teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to converse at all levels.
- Knowledge and Experience: Previous knowledge and experience or a retail type environment would be an advantage.
- Qualifications: A positive can-do outlook with the determination and tenacity to succeed.
