As a Lead Maritime Civil Engineer, you will be instrumental in all facets of maritime engineering within Transformational Programmes for essential UK infrastructure, with chances to engage in remarkable engineering projects both domestically and internationally.
We excel in various aspects of maritime engineering across multiple demanding and stimulating sectors, including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development. Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams responsible for technical design work, adhering to relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Effectively manage timelines and budgets to meet key project milestones and schedules.
- Collaborate closely with teams both in the UK and internationally to deliver cohesive design solutions.
- Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
- Enhance and oversee civil engineering capabilities within the organization.
- Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer status.
- Proven experience in managing design delivery, including multidisciplinary design in the port and maritime sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of civil and structural design pertaining to port and maritime infrastructure, facilitating port operations, vessel berthing and mooring, and the movement of people and goods globally.
- Practical experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary benchmarked against industry standards, along with a default of 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with options to purchase or sell additional leave. Salary and benefits will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:
This position may require security clearance, and offers of employment will depend on obtaining the necessary level of clearance. The vetting procedure is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may necessitate candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
