About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team at Sweco. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and implement project plans and strategies.
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering project delivery, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
