About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team at Sweco. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects and providing technical leadership to our multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers, Design Managers, and Technical Managers to acquire project milestones and design review dates.
  • Review project design calculations and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Liaise with other departments and project teams to ensure design requirements are met.
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver projects on time, to budget, and to the correct quality.
  • Ensure designs comply with all statutory civil standards and regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and be a chartered engineer or have equivalent experience. You will also need to have a proven track record in design and integration of civil process systems, and experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
