As a Senior Maritime Engineering Leader, you will be instrumental in all facets of maritime engineering for transformative projects related to essential infrastructure, with opportunities to engage in landmark engineering endeavors both domestically and internationally.

Our expertise encompasses a wide range of maritime engineering aspects across various dynamic sectors, including Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development. Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage teams responsible for technical design work, adhering to relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Effectively manage timelines and budgets to meet key project milestones and schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with teams both in the UK and internationally to deliver cohesive design solutions.
  • Establish quality assurance standards in design processes.
  • Develop and enhance civil engineering capabilities within the organization.
What You Bring to the Role
  • Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status.
  • Proven experience in overseeing design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the maritime and port sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil and structural design for port and maritime infrastructure that supports port operations, vessel berthing and mooring, and the movement of people and goods globally.
  • Practical experience with current UK and European design standards, including BS6349.

Compensation and Benefits:

We provide a competitive salary that is regularly benchmarked against industry standards, along with a default of 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with options to purchase or sell additional leave. Compensation and benefits will align with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

This position may necessitate security clearance, and employment offers will depend on obtaining the appropriate level of clearance. If required, this will be discussed during the interview process. The vetting procedure is conducted by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of UK residency for a minimum of five years.
