This pivotal role is situated within a newly established timber frame production facility.
The Working Team Leader will operate within the manufacturing environment, collaborating with and guiding teams in the construction and assembly of panels and floor cassettes, while managing performance in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance performance metrics through SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People).
- Lead teams in the assembly of timber frame panels, ensuring high standards of quality in a secure working environment.
- Provide daily reports on team performance and conduct briefings on SQCDP metrics.
- Monitor daily production progress.
- Address and resolve daily operational challenges.
- Commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards in a manufacturing context.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Proficiency in woodworking and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Strong team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing is essential.
- Familiarity with operating table and cross-cut saws.
- Proficient in the use of power tools.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership.
