About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to champion our Continuous Improvement mentality across our manufacturing sites in Stockport and Frome.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all teams to identify and share best practices, looking for improvements to increase yield or identify savings.
- Coach and develop the culture on both sites, supporting plant leadership in change management and performance improvements.
- Develop and execute an improvement roadmap to reduce conversion cost gap, assess the current state of plant operations, and drive progression towards a future state.
- Facilitate project teams, ensure process owner involvement, and provide leadership to teams through goal setting, follow-up, and feedback.
- Work closely with Plant Managers on strategic initiatives, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions to continuously improve the plant.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or experience as a Lean Implementer.
- Ability to give examples of implementing continuous improvement.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering.
- Experience in Operational Management or Quality Management.
