About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Lytham St. Annes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care and support.
  • Foster a culture of consultation and collaboration with young people, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Allocate key workers to each young person, ensuring their needs are met and their progress is monitored.
  • Maintain high-quality care standards, adhering to National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people.
Requirements and Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills.
  • Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
  • Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
  • Full UK driving license.
