We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Lytham St. Annes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Foster a culture of consultation and collaboration with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Allocate key workers to each young person, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Maintain high-quality care standards, adhering to National Minimum Standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
- Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of our young people.
- At least 2 years of experience in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months of employment.
- Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills.
- Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
- Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
- Full UK driving license.
