About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our Children's Home in Lytham St. Annes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Foster a culture of consultation and collaboration with young people, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Allocate key workers to each young person and ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintain high standards of care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote the welfare of young people.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in residential care of children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Efficient planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership skills.
  • Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
  • Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
  • Full UK driving license.
