About the Role

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Support Officer to join our Estates and Facilities Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the main administration office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Facilities Department, including maintaining accurate records, liaising with various departments and external organizations.
  • Develop and update the Facilities Intranet web pages to ensure timely and accurate information is available to staff.
  • Provide backup support for other areas within the Facilities Department, including covering for the Travel Office.
  • Support the Refurbishment Programme Manager in various administrative tasks, including department moves and logistics.
  • Provide essential cover for the Trust's logistics van driver during periods of absence.

Requirements

  • Previous clerical, administrative, and computer experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Recognized administrative experience, including NVQ III in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer care skills (desirable).
