ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Inspector to join our Water Network Operations and Leakage team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guaranteeing that our customers receive a reliable supply of high-quality drinking water by managing customer concerns from inspection through to resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your daily activities will involve:

  • Performing inspections related to customer issues such as leaks, stop taps, and water wastage, resolving problems on-site whenever feasible.
  • Upholding high standards of remedial action to ensure first-time resolutions.
  • Taking personal responsibility for customer issues, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring commitments are fulfilled.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints, including in-person visits when necessary.
  • Efficiently managing time to complete unappointed customer tasks between scheduled visits.
  • Identifying and proactively addressing issues for vulnerable customers or those requiring additional assistance.
  • Complying with company policies and standards, including data protection and traffic management.
  • Acting as a primary contact for customers throughout their journey.
  • Coordinating with property owners/installers to ensure timely completion of remedial work following inspections.
  • Promoting and enhancing safe working practices, reviewing and suggesting improvements to methods and procedures.
