Are you an experienced Utility Surveyor eager to take the next step in your professional journey? RPS is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality geospatial information for a variety of projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Role Overview:

In this engaging, field-oriented position, you will operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a team on projects that range from standard to highly intricate. You will employ cutting-edge technology to facilitate the accurate collection of field data for Underground Utility Mapping, Drainage Assessments, and other advanced surveying services.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and assist in survey initiatives, ensuring delivery is on schedule and within project parameters. Work closely with Senior Surveyors and Survey Managers. Adhere to technical standards to generate quality-assured survey outputs. Maintain safe working practices across diverse environments. Conduct both supervised and independent tasks, following established risk assessments. Interact with the public, team members, and clients effectively. Recognize and report operational, safety, and commercial risks. Follow company protocols, including safe driving practices. Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.

Desired Qualifications:

Education: QCF Level 3 in Utility Mapping/Surveying or a relevant HNC/Diploma, or equivalent experience. Experience: Proficiency in PAS128 standards. Skills: Competence in operating surveying instruments (Electromagnetic, Ground Penetrating Radar) and software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office). Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Attitude: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to learn. Requirements: Valid UK driving licence and readiness to undergo routine drug and alcohol testing. Flexibility in working hours and effective time management skills.
