About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Surveyor to join our team at Capita Entrust. As a Property Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake planned maintenance programmes, including the design and specification of projects, and the supervision of work on site.
- Provide routine advice and support to our clients on day-to-day and planned maintenance repairs.
- Implement, diagnose, and manage works for the repair and maintenance of various buildings, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Manage projects within approved budgets, liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure the use of and adherence to appropriate health and safety risk assessments and precautions, in line with CDM 2015 regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of an HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of Listed Buildings and the preparation and submission of Listed Building Applications.
- Qualified tradespeople with suitable supervisory experience will be considered.
- Experience in the management and organisation of building maintenance project works, working to budgets and deadlines.
- Experience in the provision of building specifications/drawings for maintenance and minor improvement works.
- Ability to diagnose building defects, identify solutions, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of building and planning regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Current Full Driving License.
- DBS enhanced disclosure required.
