We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team at RecruitMe on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the largest providers of homes in the West Midlands, employing almost 1,000 people across the business.

The purpose of this interim role is to provide support to the Payroll Team, including the production of the group's payroll, and to assist the Payroll Manager with various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Team in the production of the group's payroll, including processing payrolls from start to finish.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager with various projects, including implementing changes to payroll processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to two payroll officers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees and management.
  • Utilize payroll systems, including Civica, to process payrolls and implement changes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls, including reporting and reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a payroll team and processing payrolls from start to finish.
  • Experience working within a project team and playing a key role in project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, including Civica.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, and strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
