Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and managing contract enhancements, identifying target projects, and innovative technologies to improve services.
  • Support the Business Development team during tender processes and assist in the mobilization and demobilization of industrial contracts.
  • Contribute to the innovation and business improvement strategy for waste water and energy accounts in the UK.
  • Collaborate with sector managers to drive budgeted sales growth and enhance the profitability of sector contracts.
  • Work alongside the Commercial & Transition Manager to plan and implement continuous improvement strategies for clients.
  • Promote operational excellence and the principles of value addition through lean six sigma methodologies.
  • Ensure safe working practices for all Veolia clients, employees, and third parties during improvement projects.
  • Assist in creating bespoke commercial and operational procedures as needed.
  • Support the development of formal processes with procurement for pre-qualification and subcontracting activities.
  • Help develop tailored contract management tools for performance monitoring and innovation reporting.
Candidate Profile:
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
  • Proven ability to build internal and external relationships and manage performance against objectives
  • Experience in customer engagement at various levels
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to enhancing standards
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Emerging leadership qualities
  • Valid driving license is essential
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a contracting environment related to industrial water, energy, or waste
  • Degree or Chartered Management Institute Qualification (CMI)
  • APM Project Management Qualification
  • Experience in autonomous project management
