Job Summary

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Firefighter - Community Safety Specialist. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in preventing fires and emergencies from occurring in the first place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and educate the public on fire safety and prevention techniques to minimize danger to the community.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community safety initiatives and programs.
  • Work collaboratively with other emergency services and community groups to promote fire safety and prevention.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, including firefighting, rescue operations, and hazardous materials response.
  • Provide treatment to casualties and preserve endangered life.

Requirements

  • Must be over 17 and a half years old.
  • A UK/EU citizen or a permanent resident of the UK without any work restrictions.
  • In possession of a full UK or EU driving licence (manual or automatic).
  • Free from any unspent criminal convictions.
  • Confident in, on, and around water.
