Role: Portfolio Risk & Assurance Manager

The Bridge Ltd is seeking a dedicated Portfolio Risk & Assurance Manager to become a vital part of a newly established team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the effective management of risks associated with the Technology Digital and Data transformation landscape, as well as service operations.
Your responsibilities will encompass the identification, evaluation, and analysis of risk patterns and overall risk exposure, alongside the development of value-driven strategies to mitigate these risks and the planning and execution of contingency measures as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure precise reporting of risk patterns and exposure.
- Oversee risk budgets to align with strategic objectives within designated timeframes and financial limits.
- Enhance and monitor mitigation strategies to correspond with risk impact and exposure.
- Conduct scenario analyses to validate the effectiveness of contingency plans.
- Support the implementation of audit and assurance frameworks to refine risk management strategies.
- Adapt and customize broad frameworks, standards, and policies to meet specific organizational requirements.
- Guarantee that appropriate risk management practices and principles are consistently applied across all portfolios.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess:
- Extensive experience in Portfolio Risk Management and Assurance, with leadership experience in IT, OT, and Data environments.
- A proven track record in managing risk at a strategic level, with a solid understanding of assurance lines of defense.
- Experience in engaging with senior-level stakeholders and presenting insights on risk patterns, exposures, and the risk appetites of senior leadership.
- A strategic perspective on risk, with the ability to identify trends and assess vulnerability exposures.
- A comprehensive understanding of foundational risk management principles, strategic risk exposure, and holistic risk perspectives.
- The capability to consolidate risks into key strategic concerns for leadership consideration.
- Certification at the Practitioner Level in a recognized Risk Management Methodology.
Additionally, familiarity with structured project management methodologies and a solid understanding of the complete project delivery lifecycle, particularly Agile methodologies, is essential. The ability to prioritize effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial for success in this role.
