Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Services Administrator to join our Administration team at Hollyns Health & Wellbeing. This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week, with the possibility of extended hours, annual leave, and sickness cover.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, including making and confirming bookings, and handling cancellations and rescheduling.
  • Process patient requests, including issuing repeat prescriptions, handling medical records, and dealing with pharmacy and medical staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, mail distribution, and filing.
  • Contribute to the effective running of the practice, including participating in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external agencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including practice management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information.
