AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Project Planner with expertise in Primavera P6 to contribute to a distinctive international initiative.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Project Controls teams in highly regulated environments, ensuring the effective delivery of comprehensive planning capabilities within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and assisting the Task Manager with business rhythms, schedule integrity, network analysis, and communication with program and business teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource allocation, and project-specific IMS documentation.
  • Contributing to the month-end process by updating schedule progress, forecasting, and conducting milestone status and critical path analysis.
  • Providing planning insights for investment approvals, change control processes, and risk management.
  • Producing planning and Earned Value (EV) deliverables in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Identifying solutions and alternatives to address scheduling performance challenges.
  • Fostering relationships with project team members and supporting the growth of Assistant Planners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing, integrating, and analyzing project plans.
  • Familiarity with best practice planning processes and tools.
  • Understanding of confidence modeling techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in interpreting charts and spreadsheets.
  • Capability to manage priorities and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Compensation Package:
Salary range from £38,000 to £45,000, commensurate with experience.
Location: Aldermaston.
