About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Skills Trainer to join our team at Pearson. As a Business Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality business skills training programs that enhance and develop learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop, implement, and deliver business skills training programs that are high-quality, robust, and aligned to organizational standards.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver classroom face-to-face and/or virtual training sessions to train and coach learners in business, management, and leadership skills.
  • Resource Creation: Create resources to assist with training programs, such as PowerPoint presentations, workbooks, and handouts.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize all available and appropriate technology in the delivery of learning programs to enhance the learner experience.
  • Training Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
  • Feedback and Coaching: Provide constructive, professional, and relevant feedback to learners and carry out coaching calls with learners.
  • Learner Progression: Ensure that allocated learners are progressing in line with their target achievement dates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate learner records, including those held within MIS systems and online learning systems.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold relevant teaching/training qualifications.
  • Experience: Proven experience of delivering inspirational and engaging training content, with at least 5 years training and delivery experience within the business skills sector.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and IT skills, proven coaching and mentoring skills, outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
