About the Role

Cygnet is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trainer to join our team. As a Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of clinical skills training to both registered professionals and non-registered staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver clinical skills training programs that meet the needs of our healthcare services.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage participants and promote skill development.
  • Assess participant skills and knowledge to ensure competency.
  • Provide constructive feedback to participants who require additional coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to plan and deliver training programs.
  • Work with Clinical Leads and Training Managers to promote a cohesive learning culture within Cygnet.
  • Stay up-to-date with current subject knowledge and maintain a Trainer portfolio.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all participants.
  • Manage the classroom environment to ensure equal and safe participation.
  • Follow safeguarding processes and report any concerns to a Service Manager.
  • Ensure equipment is available, clean, and fit for purpose.
  • Accurately complete and submit course administration using relevant systems.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Learning and Development.
