Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Programme Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Programme Director to lead our Fashion Industry Programme. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex programmes and projects, with a strong focus on circular economy principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Programme Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive programme strategy to drive circular economy practices in the fashion industry.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, and civil society organisations.
  3. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  4. Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster partnerships with industry leaders, NGOs, and other stakeholders to drive collective action towards a circular economy.
  5. Communication and Reporting: Develop and disseminate programme reports, case studies, and other materials to showcase programme impact and progress.
  6. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of programme staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 7+ years of experience in programme management, project management, or a related field.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, environmental science, or international development.
  3. Skills: Strong programme management skills, with experience in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
