About the Role

Schroders, a leading global investment manager, is seeking an experienced professional to join its Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day support and service features for the Aladdin platform, a global investment platform used by Schroders and its clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to handle Aladdin-related enquiries, working closely with the platform's supplier, BlackRock Solutions (BRS), to ensure smooth resolution of issues and management of recurring problems. In this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to multitask in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day service contribution and support supervision of Aladdin with BRS
  • Handle second-line Aladdin-related enquiries globally, with a primary focus in the EMEA region
  • Troubleshoot user enquiries and direct them appropriately
  • Address issues/incidents related to Aladdin and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution
  • Be the primary point of escalation to BRS for critical business issues
  • Mentor, coach, and enhance team members' skills

Requirements

  • Experience within the front office environment of an asset management firm
  • Solid understanding of the fund management business and Order/Trade workflow
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of a broad range of investment products
  • Proven capability to define and document business problems in a complex investment environment
  • Strong communication skills and capacity to operate under pressure
