Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of educational activities by preparing necessary resources to enhance lesson plans and achieve learning objectives.
  • Prepare and organize materials and equipment, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Maintain classroom resources and designated areas to support effective learning.
  • Supervise small groups or individual students during teacher-led activities, providing clear instructions and adapting tasks as needed.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate achievements to the teaching staff.
  • Encourage student independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Facilitate the use of technology to support learning.
Accountabilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to support students across various subjects and the entire curriculum.
  • Establish nurturing and secure relationships with students, fostering respect, self-esteem, and an inclusive school culture.
  • Develop an understanding of the specific academic, physical, and emotional needs of students, responding effectively to their requirements.
  • Assist educators in designing and producing learning materials and resources tailored to specific learning outcomes.
  • Support and motivate students by clarifying instructions and promoting independent learning to achieve educational targets.
