Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team at Tara Professional Recruitment Ltd. As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students aged 3-19 with a range of needs, including autism and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students individually or in small groups to help them understand and complete assignments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the teacher or school administration.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies tailored to each student's needs.

Requirements:

  • Certificates to include supporting complex challenging behaviours and restricting physical interventions.
  • Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and strategies for supporting individuals with diverse needs.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training in areas such as autism awareness, behaviour management, and safeguarding.
