We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a highly rated school in Shropshire. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs, creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs in a classroom setting
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to students' diverse needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure seamless support
  • Participate in EHCPs and other educational plans to ensure students receive the best possible support
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Passion for making a positive impact on students' lives
