This is a full-time, ongoing position within a reputable educational institution focused on delivering exceptional support to students with varying degrees of learning challenges and additional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As a SEN Instructor, you will:
- Design and execute tailored educational plans (IEPs) and support mechanisms to cater to the unique needs of each learner.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators, therapists, and support personnel to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.
- Engage in the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:
- A PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in teaching various subjects.
- A solid understanding of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, along with experience in managing students exhibiting challenging behaviours.
- The capability to modify instructional methods and adapt teaching styles to meet diverse student needs.
