About the Team
We are a dynamic and fast-paced team of consultants dedicated to providing strategic advice to corporate, public sector, and private equity clients in the defence industry. Our mission is to empower C-level executives with innovative solutions to navigate the ever-evolving demands of this sector.
As part of KPMG's Strategy & Performance Transformation team (S&PT), we collaborate closely with our clients to identify, structure, and solve their most critical strategic challenges. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where individuals can thrive and contribute to impactful client engagements.
The RoleAs a Director within our Defence sector team, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and delivering high-impact strategy & transformation projects. You will work closely with Partners to lead opportunity development, design and deliver tailored engagements, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives within the defence sector, leveraging your expertise to guide clients through complex challenges.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders across defence organisations, understanding their unique needs and objectives.
- Contribute to thought leadership within the defence industry by developing innovative solutions and sharing insights through publications and presentations.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the S&PT team.
We are seeking an accomplished professional with a proven track record in delivering strategic consulting services to the defence industry. You possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the sector's dynamics, and a passion for driving impactful change.
- Demonstrated experience in selling and delivering high-impact strategy & transformation projects to C-suite executives within defence contractors.
- A robust network of senior client contacts within the defence sector, coupled with a thorough understanding of their strategic priorities and operational challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience leading complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and driving successful outcomes.
