About the Role

The Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Analyst to join our Policy, Research and Campaigns team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the College's policy and external affairs activity is supported by strong and credible data and evidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake primary and secondary research and analysis to inform policy and external affairs activity
  • Commission and manage external research suppliers to support the team's work
  • Work closely with colleagues across the College to develop and implement research projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other materials to support the College's advocacy work

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collect and analyze data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable understanding of research methods and ability to apply them in a policy context
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
