Vertiv is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to contribute to our commitment to providing a secure and compliant work environment in Campsie, Northern Ireland.

Reporting directly to the EHS Manager, you will collaborate closely with senior management to implement best practices in health and safety across all operations.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting thorough site audits to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements for a safer workplace.
  • Cultivating a proactive safety culture by promoting awareness and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation in accordance with ISO standards, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Supporting team performance through continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to strict health and safety procedures.

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • NEBOSH certification with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and address potential risks effectively.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented approach, coupled with practical site-based experience.
  • NEBOSH Diploma/Degree qualification is highly desirable.
