Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales and Retention Specialist to enhance our residential customer base through a variety of sales and retention initiatives. This role is based in our Derry office and is integral to our growth strategy in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through both inbound and outbound communication channels to retain and acquire clientele.
  • Facilitate customer transitions to new premises as needed.
  • Provide administrative support related to sales activities.
  • Maintain a strong conversion rate from calls to successful customer retention or acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality metrics and customer interaction standards.
  • Adhere to regulatory guidelines relevant to sales and marketing efforts.
  • Effectively manage workload and operate independently.
  • Set and manage customer expectations in accordance with established practices.
  • Follow company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Promote additional products and services through up-selling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Support other sales functions and participate in events as required.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience in a comparable role within the energy, telecommunications, or customer service industries. Outbound sales experience is preferred but not essential. We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, motivated, and eager to make a meaningful impact. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Excel, along with a solid understanding of digital sales and social selling is necessary. Strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and effective negotiation capabilities are essential for success in this position.
