About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Despatch Cloud. As a key player in our growth strategy, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting new clients and markets to expand our reach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expand Our Reach: Identify potential clients and untapped markets, using your insight to expand our customer base and open new business avenues.
  • Lead Generation: Engage in proactive outreach to generate leads and bring new clients into the fold.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic plan to penetrate new markets, ensuring our solutions reach the businesses that need them most.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their needs, and offering solutions tailored to their business goals.
  • Sales Growth: Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth by developing and negotiating proposals, contracts, and agreements.
  • Close the Deal: Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into loyal, paying clients, ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to partnership.
  • Market Insights: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges, keeping us ahead of the curve.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Keep detailed records of your sales activities, client interactions, and outcomes, providing regular reports on your performance and future forecasts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in harmony with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product development, and customer support—to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
  • Networking: Represent Despatch Cloud at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building a robust professional network that enhances our brand's presence.
